I started this company becasue I saw an opportunity in real estate to do something I love which was be hands on fixing up houses. For the first year I did just that but I started realizing this is more than just painting and putting in floors and new cabinets, there is an opportunity to solve problems and change peoples lives for the better.
My very first deal was helping a retiring health care worker. She had to move out of state within 2 months and had admittedly let some maintenace items go on for a while to where it was going to be a challenge to sell to a family ready to move in immediately. She was very worried that all the puzzle pieces wouldn’t line up. We were able to relieve that stress by buying her property with all the contents inside just as it sat exactly on the timeline she needed. We even bought her extra vehicle, last minute, that she wasn’t able to sell or take with her.
Another time we were able to cut out part of a doorframe that had 20 years of grandchildren height/date marks and present that back to the deceased seller’s children at closing time.
